“You just don’t get it, do you?” she snapped at him as he gaped at her, dumbfounded. “I don’t want to be on your nightly news program and I’m not interested in having my picture taken.”
“But, if you allow us to feature you on our program, it could really help your cause,” he urged, smoothly.
“Listen,” she replied, searching his eyes as she continued, “one thing I’m certain of is that you can’t help me, because what I hunger for is to see the men, women and children that I minister to, have a personal relationship with Jesus, so that He can set them free from the bonds of addiction, abuse, fear and ignorance. I want to feed their spirits as well as their bellies.”
